National performance indicators are produced annually based on returns submitted to the Department of Health and other government departments. Below are 15 performance indicators for children's services. Performance assessment framework indicators are listed at: www.doh.gov.uk/scg/pssperform/module4.htm.
A more comprehensive data set is available through the Key Indicators Graphical system (KIGS). KIGS contains all relevant data returns for children and adults services for the last five years, enabling year on year comparisons, as well as comparisons with other authorities.
